There's no hope

People never learn. 

As the doom spiral of the planet intensifies, it's tempting to take comfort in the idea that at least the climate denialists will be around to see the destruction they've wrought.

But it won't matter. 

A million Americans dead from Covid, and people still bang on about plots and plandemics.

Britain's economy is going down the toilet in large part due to Brexit, and a large chunk of the electorate reacts by embracing the party helmed by Brexit's chief cheerleader. 

And as rising temperatures make daily life closer to unbearable, the reaction of climate change denialists will be to complain that it's thanks to environmentalists shutting down coal fired power stations that it's so bloody expensive to run the air conditioning ten months a year.

People never learn.
